Integration Engineer – Missile Warning System Leidos National Security Sector

Leidos is seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to support the Missile Warning System , ensuring seamless integration of software and hardware components. This role focuses on deploying and configuring open-source, commercial, government-provided, and Leidos-developed products while managing classified and unclassified labs .

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure open-source journaling engines and multiple database platforms .

• Develop Ansible scripts to optimize container deployments.

• Work closely with developers to align deployment with design specifications.

• Create build and configuration guides for seamless integration.

• Manage and configure classified and unclassified software labs .

• Set up boundary security devices within the program.

• Support team members in technology implementation and troubleshooting .

• Assist in code development, scanning, and testing for developers.

• Ensure compliance with DoD security policies for container security.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Networking with 4+ years of relevant experience (additional certifications or experience may substitute for education).

• U.S. Citizen; Currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance .

• Experience deploying and configuring firewalls .

• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, VLAN configuration, and IP subnetting .

• Proven abilities in Linux operating systems .

• Demonstrated knowledge in the software development lifecycle , including design, development, and testing .

Preferred Skills:

• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills .

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

• Familiarity with multiple database engines .

• Knowledge of software, hardware, and networking design diagrams .

• Experience with VMware products .
