Job DescriptionJob Description Forward Traffic & Marking is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Traffic Control Estimator to support our pre-construction process and help ensure the successful execution of our projects. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE ESTIMATOR

As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing detailed estimates for projects by reviewing construction documents, analyzing plans, and ensuring all materials and labor are accounted for. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth pre-construction process and assist project managers with local project quotes. Your daily tasks will include reviewing bid requirements, soliciting quotes from subcontractors, and documenting assumptions throughout the bidding process. You will also track bid results, analyze project costs, and contribute to ensuring projects remain on budget and on time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience , along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Road construction experience a plus. Traffic Control Experience highly desired . A commitment to high professional ethical standards is necessary. Experience with B2W is desired, and good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are required. A strong initiative for taking on challenges and responsibilities is important, as well as being reliable with an excellent work ethic. The role requires the ability to perform stationary work for extended periods and frequently operate a computer and other office equipment. Effective communication is necessary, both with individuals within the organization and external contacts.
